    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course to any student because although it is interesting, it goes by so fast and sometimes the professor begins to go off topic.

    Course highlights:

The thing I gained from this course was learning more about my own body and how it functions when we get sick or get injured and how it is repaired.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The best piece of advice I can give students is to never give up because as long as you apply yourself to the work, you are going to do great.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My favorite class is surprisingly Bio 111. I am really interested in cell function, energy transformation, genetics, evolution, classification, and other related topics that the class offers. My teacher is also outgoing, he's also very lively, and allows us to expand on topics to have a better understanding on what is going on. The class overall makes me more interested in the subject of Biology.

    Course highlights:

One good aspect of the course in my opinion would be the expansion of topics. Professor Heintz goes into detail on almost every topic in the course. He gives real life examples to help students better understand the different topics throughout the class. He also provides in depth course notes online so that the students who are poor note takes can review them and grasp the material easier. Throughout the course learned concept of cell division, cell function, and also the concept of teamwork. Biology is hard course, at times I did struggle with different topics but with help from my professor and classmates I was able to better understand the topic I did struggle in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students considering on taking this course would be to make sure you take time out of your day to study. The course can be difficult if you don't take the time to review the material. Two maybe three hours of studying a day would help significantly. I would also advise future students to make friends with their classmate. This would help in better grasping the material and provide a good atmosphere for studying.
