    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. It provides an overview of how the human body functions and is a great gateway to a variety of health-related fields. It focuses heavily on comprehension of processes, rather than memorization of a bulk of material. I do not memorize well, but I understand processes, so this course worked very well with my learning style.

    Course highlights:

I learned metabolic, neurological, cardiovascular, and muscular functions and how they affect the condition of the human body. For me, my favorite parts were the metabolic pathways and muscular functions. As a Kinesiology major, I am very interested in how the body gets energy from nutrients and uses muscles to do work, and this course gave me that knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book and watch videos detailing the processes. The best way to comprehend the complex processes is to see them over and over and spend as much time as possible with them.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher wants you to succeed and he's quite funny. He also gives you multiple opportunities to boost your grade if you're falling behind.

    Course highlights:

I loved doing the project he assigns at the end. I learned a lot about my body and what I need to do to efficiently burn fat and lose weight.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Study. Study. Find a group of people in the class who you can study with. Meet at least once week. The book isn't necessary but his notes are.
