    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is introduction into the basic everyday cases throughout the medical field. I helps get the understanding of how to think as the patient and the doctor.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge of real life cases with real life people. People with major disabilities, how to think when you have a patient whom is suicidal and abortion cases.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Find time to read the Medical Ethics book. It is very helpful and will keep you up to date with the class lecture.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this course online and I felt as though the course moved way too fast and I didn't do well balancing the work. I needed more help and the help was not provided.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the deeper aspects of medicine and how rules and medical decisions come into play. I learned about the differing sides of philosophers and what their beliefs have decided for the entire medical community. You learn about abortion and euthanasia and trials that took forth that changed the rules. It was very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course online. It is too compacted with information to try to balance lecture classes and this as an online class. STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I had no idea what this class was when I had registered for it, but after the first day I was glad I had this class. It was a very interesting course that made you think for yourself on many ethical issues that may be too sensitive to talk about in other settings.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of how to think for myself in this course. The professor made the topics very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advice you to keep up with the assigned reading! It makes lecture a lot more interesting and easier to follow along with.
