    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course takes up all the free time you have. Everyone is differnent some people do not need to work as hard as others, but this course will be a challenge.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Raut is a funny, yet challenging professor. Her course can be very difficult if you do not know how to study. There are 4 exams and each has 50 multiple choice questions. If you miss the test day for an excuse absence the test you take will be a short answer test.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend you learn how to study, apply the material to realistic situations, read to book, ask questions during class and TA/SI sessions, and mastering biology.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is extremely challenging, requires some serious work and commitment. The tests are ridiculously difficult and require Phd level analysis to answer questions correctly. Completely unfair calling it "Introductory Biology" should be an upper 300 level course.

    Course highlights:

    - how cells work - plant and animal cells - cellular respiration - cell division - animal cells - photosynthesis

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, Study, Study, Study, take amazing notes. She only uses pictures and DOES NOT upload her ppt so you need to be there and 100% focused. Record the lectures.
