Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course requires you take validations to progress in the course. There is a medication calculation test that you must make a 90 on to progress. There is also vital signs and medication administration. Med admin is one of the hardest validations because of how technical it is.

    Course highlights:

You learn basic nursing skills of patient care in this course such as bed making, bathing, etc. After you pass each validation, you are able to do that skill in clinical. Giving medications is fun when you finally get to do it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go into class prepared and do the reading before. Go to open lab more than just the required hours to practice for validations. Don't take medication calculations too lightly.
