Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This course is an excellent course for learning the PMBOK knowledge areas and applying them to a real-life project to gain valuable experience. The 7-week mini-mester course is an extremely short amount of time to fully initiate, plan, execute, control/monitor, and close a project though. I would recommend the 15-week full semester if you aren't able to focus ALL of your extra time to this class. Mr. Crigler is preparing to retire, so I can't speak to the future instructor(s) of this course, but he was an excellent resource - very responsive to emails. He is remaining at the school as an intern coordinator part-time. Take advantage of his network of resources if you're looking for a start to your career or considering a job change.
Hands down, the highlight of this course has to be the full implementation of a project through 100% virtual communications. In most real-life situations, only a handful of projects require virtual meetings; however, this course tests your ability to not only work as a team member, but it also tests your tech-savvy and version control abilities.

Advice for students:
This course is definitely worth the effort. I've been in project management for years, and I still took so much away from this class. The earned value calculation is one of the more difficult concepts to grasp, but if you just think through it and get an understanding of it's purpose, it totally makes sense and can help your organization to make good decisions.
