    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great foundation in biology. You learn a lot in lecture, and the lab buffers your understanding in lecture. My experience has been that I couldn't understand something in lecture, but in lab that topic was more lucid and I grasped that topic.

    Course highlights:

I've learned that people have made many discoveries over the years, and that we have a great deal of knowledge. I've learned that science makes a way to explore wonderful things in life. This course reveals the ineffable beauty that is in our world today. The highlights is being able to know what trait you can possibly receive from your parents.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, it behooves one to stay in front of the material. Don't get behind. Read every chapter before you get to class, so that note taking is limited, and listening is enhanced. There is a lot of material, so this advice is critical and needs to be adhered to.
