    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a great introductory course to molecular biology. There are a wide variety of topics covered so it may help you figure out your niche! The course is taught in a straight forward manner with Powerpoint slides that are even posted before class starts.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed all of the topics we covered, from cellular respiration to genetics. It gave me a sense of what areas I enjoyed learning about the most. Sometimes, there were guest speakers that would come and talk about an area that they are experts in, such as cancer biology. The lectures were all very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I always wrote down the notes ahead of time before class started. That way, during the lecture I could fully absorb what the professor was saying instead of scrambling to get the notes down. This helped me because I could really focus and listen in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. David is a great professor and this is a great course to take for a pre-med track. The course is a bit difficult so it is necessary to visit TA office hours often but if the work is put in you will do great.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge about cell processes. Although you may come in with prior knowledge on the subject from a course such as AP Bio, this course goes in depth.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use your resources. Your TA's will be extremely helpful with any problems that come up, whether it is exam help or looking over a lab report. Dr. David is also very helpful and available for office hours.
