    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Its a very good course and parshad is a very good teacher compared to many of the professors my friends have.

The course is pretty straightforward and he makes the exams very easy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor, CJ Mar as my friends and I liked to call him, was amazing. He was by far one of the best professors I have ever have. He made class fun, which can be a struggle with a 4 PM Calculus class. He was an efficient teacher and his explanations are legendary. They made no sense to anyone outside of the class, but they just made me get it.

    Course highlights:

He spent a solid five minutes drawing an extraordinarily detailed airplane for a demonstration.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just pay attention in class. The professor can go at a relatively quick pace and if you aren't paying attention and miss a lecture, important details that occur later in the class can go over your head. Take notes, even if what he is saying seems to be utter nonsense, because if you go back over the notes later or bring them to his office, it all makes sense.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking Calculus 1, because it is an important course if you are looking to become a scientist or engineer.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of calculus 1, but more importantly learned applications through projects and homework.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed you must go to class and take notes as well as complete the homework and seek out help form teaching assistants when necessary.
