Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Introduction to Web Design is a sensible twenty-first century designed course for Digital Media and Communications majors of the new age. It introduces students to the basics of HTML 5 coding, website planning and structure, and gives students who successfully completed this course an invaluable tool to use in their professional and academic careers.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was learning the HTML 5 coding, as it enables you to properly design a functional website for any purpose. The genius incorporation of outside design programs such as Adobe Photoshop in HTML 5 web design was also a great learning experience. Lastly, the constant collaborative efforts in this course translate greatly to real-world skills, where effective teamwork is a must-have skill.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be diligent with going to class, listen to other students and communicate with the teacher often as the class is fast-based and each lesson builds on the one before it. Additionally, expect this course to be more time-intensive and practical and plan accordingly. Finally, have a sense of humor and creativity! There is an abundance of fun to be had in the design of a website.
