    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because Professor Spires puts a lot of effort in helping students engage with the coursework through heavily based discussions. His class is not primarily focused on giving grades but making sure that every student leaves the class at least feeling confused or thinking about how ideas discussed is connected to the world.

    Course highlights:

Through discussion, I learned that over time, man has gone from a primitive state where there was no conflict to a state where conflict is created because of a person's desires, and the extent of them harming others to pursue a desire they cannot fully achieve.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always come prepared by completing the readings and coming up with possible ideas to discuss. Even if you have no clue what to say during discussions, always take notes when other people speak, not just the professor, so that it can help you form new ideas or give you a better understand on what you're reading.
