This class was tough.
When you work in any part of the medical field, the terminology is necessary. You will have to communicate with different departments and it helps to know what you're talking about. In medical terminology, you also learn the origin of the word which aids you in memorizing. This is definitely a course I recommend.
In taking that course, it not only helped me for medical assisting but also when my mother was hospitalized. When the medical staff would gives us information I actually knew what they were speaking of. I could hold an intelligent conversation about medical concerns and questions.

Study tips would be definitely get index cards, they are portable and very easy to use. Be sure to study and test yourself. Take notes and don't be afraid to ask questions, if you have them.
