Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because the professor is good. Class materials are simple and straightforward. Study the class notes she sends you and read the text and you'll be fine.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic concepts of law and real life application of those concepts in this course. I found tort law particularly interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, especially to the case examples the Prof discusses in class and study the midterm/final review sheets she sends you and you'll ace this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because it teaches you the basics of law in business! Basic concepts that you should understand because it's part of our daily life, whether you one day become the plaintiff or defendant. It is an introductory course but its content is well structured and easy to learn. The best part of this class was the extra credit games, yes, you heard right "games"! and Garnica's sense of humor!

    Course highlights:

I learned about the basic concepts regarding a lawsuit, our court system; type of torts; introduction to criminal law; negligence and product liability claim; ADA (American Discrimination Act); ADEA (American Discrimination Employment Act); Organizations such as FTC, EPA, SEC and FCC; Intellectual property protection.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The Wink Wink Sheet is your best friend! Use as many law terms as possible in your essay questions! Read the book before taking the midterm and the final! Do not contradict Garnica, because he has been teaching this for 23yrs (still counting) he knows all excuses and tricks of students! Follow instructions carefully, you can lose points so easily by simply not following format!
