Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is an essential for anyone who is striving towards a career in business, or any career that involves dealing with people in social situations. Professor Seplow, who also teaches at NYU, gave my class and I the tools we needed to become more confident in public speaking and did not let us leave the room without making sure that we grasped everything we needed to know.

    Course highlights:

I was taught how to correctly formulate outlines for different types of speeches and exactly how to deliver them. Not only did I become a better writer and researcher, but I overcame my intense fear of speaking in front of a group of people. The course and Professor Seplow gave me the knowledge and confidence I needed to conquer that challenge in ways that I could easily comprehend.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, you must practice. Practice writing outlines in their correct format and practice delivering your speeches correctly, whether you are speaking to your best friend, your mirror, or your pet cat. It is essential for getting a good grade in this course as well as helping the facts adhere.
