    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the interesting theme that the professor picks. She then teaches the course around that theme. The theme in my case was Monsters. It was very interesting to learn about because students had come up with different analyses of the text and approached them from different contexts. Some examples include looking at them from a religious point of view, feminist point of view, a marxist point of view and etc.

    Course highlights:

The highligths of the course would include the fact taht I was able to learn about the different ways a single reading can be looked at. It allowed me to expand my vision in regards to how I approach a text. Rather than being single minded, I was able to see a different way to analyze a text.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The number one advice I would give to students who are considering this course would be to have an open-mind. It is also imperative that one does not disregard other ideas, so that one can maximize the learning from the course.
