Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course really explores the basics and fundamentals of what goes in your brain at a molecular level. Next, we learn about different pathways in the brain and how we sense and perceive things. The final art of the course goes into systems biology and ties together all of the things we learned in the course. It shows us the bigger picture and how behavior is tied into the nitty gritty molecular mechanisms. The course required a lot of reading and memorization. Be prepared to put in a lot of work. The content is really interesting so it's worth it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me was learning how things work on a molecular level and seeing how it connected to the bigger picture. We learned about how external stimuli are perceived by the brain. We learned about how we hear, see , feel, taste, smell, and perceive stimuli.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to do a lot of reading. Do not leave the reading until the last minute. The content is very interesting and you will appreciate the beauty of the human brain. It is a lot of memorization and the tests can be specific.
