    Course Overview:

    Professor Firooznia is a wonderful teacher! He truly tries his best to teach the material in a simple manner

    Course highlights:

    The lab portion of this course are tough however they expose you to writing skills that you will need for future courses. I learned how to format my paper according to APA format as well as technical lab skills

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Try your best to study every day! Ask questions and don't hesitate to collaborate with other students if you are not understanding the material.

    Course Overview:

    Although this course was the first level of biology one would learn more about the body on the molecular level and comprehend why the human microbiome is important.

    Course highlights:

    I learned more about the evolution of humans and various virus that are used to treat certain diseases. For my final project I got to further study seborrheic dermatitis in children.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study diligently and do not be afraid to ask questions during the lecture because it will benefit you later when the final exam and project comes.
