    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a very useful introductory course for quantitative fields like business and finance. While the mathematical background is desired, it is not necessary. You can definitely succeed in the course by reading the lecture notes and practicing your coding skills.

    Course highlights:

The software we used is called SAS, a statistical package to analyze large sets of data. I liked the simplicity of the language as well as the ability to figure things out on your own.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course only if you are interested in programming/coding (and you should be if your major is related to quantitative analysis). You will be expected to do homework assignments every week, participate in class, and show your understanding on the two exams, which essentially make up your final grade.
