This class was tough.
This is the best course for an engineer. Why? In this course you are given free will to manage your own project from beginning to ending. I believe it will define you as an engineer because you will either give it everything your have and learn as much as you can, or you will just hand in a project to graduate. My advice is take your project and spend as much time as you can to learn and make your project the best because you never know what opportunities can come from it.
This is a year long course where I learned not only about the ethical standards of an engineer but also what it takes to be a successful engineer. I learned a great deal about the automotive industry since my project consisted of building an off-road recreational vehicle. From knowing nothing about how a car work to building a car from scratch and seeing it work, this was a really rewarding and learning experience.

Advice for students:
Give it all you can. This is the course where you can learn how to work as a team, apply your classroom knowledge, and have the rewarding experience of bringing your design and project to life. Do your research and start as early as you can because it is always good to have the extra time.
