    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was very fun! If you love reading books, or poetry dated back before modern times, then you'll have a blast in this class. Analyzing famous texts written by famous writers really helps strengthen your understanding of these amazing minds.

    Course highlights:

I learned about Emily Dickinson and her many poems, and the manner in which she wrote them in, down to even her handwriting. We spoke of Shakespeare briefly and discussed how his plays and writings went on to influence millions of writers and poets around the world. We even discussed writers who lived during the Harlem Renaissance and how they shaped America through literature.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to EVERYTHING, because if you're too careless in this class, you might miss something that ends up on an upcoming test.
