    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is too tough. The tests is composed of questions with multiple answers and requires critical thinking.

    Course highlights:

You can learn a lot because you will have to study a lot!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study study and study. If you don't get an A, it's okay.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I found Dr. Brazill and Dr. Alaie to be engaing and caring lecturers. While the exams are difficult and it is difficult to do well in the class, I had a lot of fun studying the material! It forces you to think critically about the applications of Biology, and I found the information intersting and inspiring.

    Course highlights:

My favorite parts of the course were when we learned about Viruses, The Immune System, and Cancer. Our class did not get to address the Reproductive System, which I believe would also have been really fun to learn. I plan to study on my own anyway.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take pictures of all the slides and review them! Record the lectures and transcribe them. Go to recitations, study with your friends and understand the concepts inside and out (rote memorization will not save you in this class). Review your old exams in the Socrates Center when you're able to.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is not only passionate about the subject, she is kind and truly concerned about every student's progress throughout the course. She IS challenging so her exams are not easy.

    Course highlights:

class discussions were always engaging because she has a sense of humor

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Never dare come to class without doing the reading first
