    | No strong feelings either way.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Requires a lot of memorization, each quiz would consist of 2-3 chapters worth of words to memorize. The book is mandatory and does regular checks on the homework assignments. Enhances your vocabulary and book is very helpful for the stem roots of many words. You learn the greek alphabet and are taught various facts about the english language.

    Course highlights:

    Greek Alphabet, History of the English Language, the meaning of each latin and greek root.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    take if you're genuinely interested, don't take if you're taking courses that consist of heavy memorization.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    second best professor I took at Hunter.

    Course highlights:

    Easy quizzes. If you do well on them then you do not have to take the final.

    pay attention in class. The book is not really mandatory but is helpful

    Course Overview:

    I blove fan to understand truly how unique language is. I have found a passion for philology. Language is truly interesting especially when taught by a great teacher.

    Course highlights:

    The teacher. He is very capable and engaging while teaching. The class is enthralling.

    If you think it take it. This course is worth it.
