Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is fairly easy if you put in the effort. You learn by yourself online by watching videos and doing homework questions. Once a week there are clicker sessions which are very helpful for the exam as the questions are very similar. Study those and the videos and you're good to go!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of basic gen chem that has helped me throughout my college career with organic chemistry and biology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you watch the videos! Very helpful

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you do most of the lesson online. The videos are very helpful in helping you gain the knowledge of what chemistry is. And the test for this course is all based on the videos. If you've watched the videos and done the let's practice questions, you'll do great in this course.

    Course highlights:

There are many thing I've learned from this course: Periodic trends, atom structures and sizes, atomic spectroscopy, molecular geometry, calculating stoichiometry, and phases changes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say if you're really interested in taking CHEM 102, do it. It might seem hard at first to get use to the lecture but you really do not need to attend the lecture at all. The videos helped me a lot and at the end of every video, do the let's practice questions. Those questions would help you big time for the tests.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The hybrid method really helped me understand the material, but it doesn't work like that with everyone. The videos tend to be a bit vague, however.

    Course highlights:

The clicker sessions really help understand some topics that could have been a little difficult to understand without any clarifications.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make time. Don't lose sapling points for being lazy.
