    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is like most classes at Hunter. It's not too conceptually challenging, but you will be lost if you don't do the reading.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Coleman is unbelievably informed. In addition, he totally loves what he teaches. He isn't too formal in the way he teaches and is completely reasonable in what he asks of us. He's funny and definitely isn't someone who is oblivious in a room full of college students. This is a good intro course to take.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you can be real with yourself and know that you don't do reading for class, I would't take this. Your grade doesn't entirely depend on it, but you will feel very lost and not be able to keep up at all in class.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because it opened the world up to me. After this course I viewed things very differently.

    Course highlights:

This course highlighted gentrification, immigration, gender studies, queer rights, racial tensions, westernization, Islamophobia and everything in between.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The class is dependent on discussion based on the reading so my one recommendation would be to focus on the reading. Take notes while reading to help fuel the discussion in class. Personal experience is also welcomed.
