    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the information is scarily accurate to what we are living in today's society. It shows us where we came from developmentally in the criminal justice system and the punitive system.

    Course highlights:

I learned how the law changed over the course of centuries. The reasoning behind what was illegal and not varied upon the era we were in. How corrections developed along with these changing laws really created who we are as a country and society today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book! It counted as a 300-level justice course for the Criminology degree and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Do the readings. Find something in each chapter you like and write about it. Research it.
