    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher explains the information very clear for you. He also very vibrant so you would be eager to learn. The information you learn in this class is also interesting especially if you want to be a doctor. You're able to learn biology in depth from a very vibrant teacher. Also, this class is manageable because the professor help you every step of the way. He's there to guide you from the dark into the light.

    Course highlights:

My highlights of this course the knowledge I earned at the end of the class. I learned about the different types of cells and these are prokaryotes and eukaryotes. There were also description given about these type of cells such that the prokaryote is a single cell organism while eukaryotes is a multicellular organism. I also learned about DNA which contribute to genetic make up. We are able to know our phenotypes and genotypes base on our genes. We also learned the punnett square which help one to predict the phenotype of an organism. We also learned about organic molecules like carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and nucleic acid. We also learned the building blocks of these molecules for example, the building block of protein is amino acid and the building block of carbohydrates is simple sugar.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advice incoming students to take good notes. Write everything that is important either if it's off the board or the teacher giving notes without writing. Everything is important. I will also advice them to study very hard and as one section or chapter is finish, they should study that chapter so it is not a burden when 5 chapters are covered. Another important factor is to complete home work. These home work help you to get a better understanding of the topic that is discussed in class.
