    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor I had for fall semester is not a professor that I would recommend taking in your first year of college. She was not very helpful in explaining things and often did not want to. Everything is put online and classes only met once a week which meant that there was little time to ask about something you saw during the week between class time. She was also very strict about the rules she had set in the classroom which made it very uncomfortable to be in class.

    Course highlights:

The one thing I learned in this class was that I needed to train myself to be self sufficient. Everyone needs help sometimes but I learned my way around the use of the student blackboard website which would never have happened if my professor were a better explainer.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are planning to take this course, you must be someone who works very quickly and grasp material quickly. The professor often unexpectedly had us present our work after doing it in a small amount of time and would embarrass students who's work was incomplete or not up to par.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Speech is a very important class to take, so that when giving various speeches throughout your life, you are prepared. This class is highly recommended; it is a College Now corse at Medgar Evers College for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders.

    Course highlights:

It helped me very much in oral presenting because before this class, I studdered, and got nervous in front of crowds. This class teaches you to fundamentals of public speaking, and throughout life it is very important to understand this concept.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to take this course I reccomend that you have the ability to pace yourself, and organize your time. This is another class that you will get homework, class work for, and a textbook, so you need to be able to manage your regular school work as well as college class work.
