Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because it was a good intro into English composition. I read a variety of texts that were all connected in one way or another. There is a lot of reading involved, but we don't read anything boring, it's all interesting works of literature.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot while writing my research project, which was a large part of our final grade. We had to write about the change that has occurred between men and women from the 50's up until now. It was fascinating to learn how much our roles in society has change. For example, back in the 60's, women would be housekeeper’s and not have a job. Now, women are going to college and are out in the work force. For men, it’s okay to be stay-at-home dad’s, but back then it wasn't common at all.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely recommend not procrastinating! The research paper takes time. You should do research little by little every day. The essay had to be a minimum of 5 pages. If you wait to do it last minute, the professor can tell that you didn't really put that much effort into it. You need to read all of the articles that the professor gives you, it has a lot of good evidence that you can quote into your essay. Also, take notes when the professor is speaking, or else you’ll forget what they said and he/she most likely won’t repeat it.
