Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This teacher is amazing! The information that she conveys to us is always straightforward so there is never a confusion between the material and the students. Take it from me! My anthropology 101 teacher was nothing like her. I dreaded the fact that I was forcing myself to take another anthropology class but now I'm glad I did take the class; especially with professor Forrest.

    Course highlights:

I learned about human evolution and how it came about. One of the most important concepts I learned so far was the fact that primates and humans share 98% of the same gene of our ancestors. I also learned about something called regulatory (controlled ) gene, which is what makes us, humans, and apes a little different than each other in body structure and physical make up. This class is amazing. Those concepts aforementioned are not the only concepts I've learned so far, but it is two of the most querky and interesting topics and facts i learned.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to everything she says in the class and definitely study. Everything she reiterates in class will be on the exams. It is not a cumulative class but it will be helpful to know what is the main points of each topic since the information is all interconnected and interrelated.
