Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is a very intriguing course. It introduces you to reactions you've never come across. You will get to understand nature and embrace Gods creation. Chemistry boosts your mathematics skills and tests your analytical knowledge as well.

    Course highlights:

In honesty, this course took a lot of my time since i took the hybrid type. I had a lot of assignments online and i had to still be on top of my reading. I was the best student in the class and the professor liked me very much so she always threw difficult questions at me just to test my knowledge and i answered all correctly. Her tests were not easy questions you could just wrap around your brains and answer. I appreciated her type of questions after I wrote the finals for Chemistry (ACS). I aced the ACS in a blink of an eye. Prof. Dcosta's standard of questions has trained me for more difficult classes ahead and i love her for that

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Please do not be lazy when it comes to assignments online. Make sure you understand what is being taught in the class. Ask a lot of questions.Participate more in class. Do not be late to class. Solve a lot of questions from the text book or google questions to solve them. Practice more.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class overall isn't too difficult. If you practice enough problems and look at enough examples similar methods to solving will be seen.

    Course highlights:

Didn't 'learn' much of anything interesting but definitely the basis needed to move onto the next level in chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice problems! You need to get used to the way things are worded and the different givens/unknowns.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor makes the course interesting and even though it might be hard to keep up with all the work you need to do for it, it's fun and very helpful for the next chem class you might take.

    Course highlights:

There are so many topics that Dr. Gloster finds the best way to connect it to the real life. Instead of seeing this class as just some substances and chemical reactions you will never happen to need in real life, you start connecting it to your everyday life and surroundings

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the online homework before the due date because it's hard. Go through the practice exam until you know every single question of it. Don't miss any recitation class because they're very helpful.
