Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course itself is very interesting and very in depth. Homework assignments were fun, very informative, and a good way to study for upcoming exams. The professor makes the course very interesting as well by keeping the class interested and by clearly presenting the information.

    Course highlights:

Some of the best things I learned throughout this course were the basic fundamentals that our universe exists by. It was very interesting to learn about how some basic laws we live by every moment of our lives exists on a much larger scale all throughout the universe such as the law of gravity. Learning about the formation of stars and planets and some of the major elements involved was also very interesting to learn about as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always pay attention during lectures and be sure to thoroughly go over online assignments, those can be a huge help; and do not forget to go over the study guides. Many professors do not provide study guides to their courses so take advantage to ensure getting the A.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Kostopoulos is a must have for any incoming freshman! I took his class as a result of the Freshman Year Initiative, and I found everything he taught us about in lecture was interesting and eye-opening. The homeworks are done online and can be tough at times.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the life cycle constellations was my favorite part of the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to take notes! While he does put most of his slides on Blackboard, I found it easier to listen to what he would say during lecture.
