    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course for students who do not regularly put the necessary effort into class assignment. This course is very straight-from-the-book, so without those before class readings one might miss a lot of important information that would go on the big tests.

    Course highlights:

From this Cultural Diversity course, I gained insight on the variety that “culture” has. A person has more than one culture; the many cultures that a person is made up of play important roles on how that person thinks, feels, and acts, but they do not make up the person entirely. This course has helped me analyze how I act towards others who do not seem like me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you must be willing to do the readings because those in class lectures are just digestives of the bigger picture and Professor Jenkins likes to pull details from within the text. Chapters can range in size so to help with studying you should make notes and keep track of vocabulary and key points that seem important or come up in class.
