Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Novatt understands the struggles students face with learning a new subject. She implements alternative learning strategies such as using models in class making it tangible and easier to visualize. Although this is a higher level class, the basic fundamental strategies that she uses provides students with clear understanding of the subject.

    Course highlights:

I learned all things chemistry. One the stuck out like a sore thumb was hybridization. I never understood what sp3 was and how someone was able identify what hybrid a molecule was classified. Of course, by the ending of the semester I understood hybridization and how to identify many molecules.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Chemistry is an interesting subject and difficult at times but push through all the obstacles ahead.
