    He doesn't just read you things from the textbook, he has discussions to ensure that you have an understanding of the material.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot of reconstruction, the progressive era and more. I gained an understanding about these time periods and what they were about.

    Ask questions if you are unsure about directions or topics.

    He blends business with pleasure which helps balances students' work ethic.

    Course highlights:

    I gained a deeper knowledge of Christopher Columbus's sail to The Americas, specifically the short-term and long-term effects his exploration caused.

    Stay focused and open-minded about learning the past. It might actually change your perspective on certain things.

    I would recommend it because it is an informative class that gives you insight into the past that lead to our present and will lead to our future.

    Course highlights:

    The class talked about the beginnings of unions and their impact on modern day economy.

    Read the given material but above all else pay attention in class; sometimes the book does not go into details that could be helpful when it comes time to writing the semester paper.
