Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I decided to take Speech (SPH106i) online for ease of access, but I quickly learned that this is one course not to be taken online. The website used to submit our videos, comments, and written assignments on was overall lacking, and very unreliable. I would spend hours in attempt to upload a solitary video, and even with photo evidence with the time showing in each individual picture, the teacher was very resistant to any help or leniency of time submissions. The teacher also submitted a schedule at the start of the semester, which was relatively useless since she did not follow the dates, and failed to make it clear for students when submission dates had changed. The class would be much easier just taken in person.

    Course highlights:

With the troubles I had with this course, the best part of this course would probably be learning to expect the worst with online submissions. Unfortunately, I feel that I missed the overall highlight of Speech course, which was learning to communicate and present better.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for any online course is always plan ahead, keeping in mind that technology can be unpredictable and unreliable at times. Speech is a course I would always recommend taking in person as opposed to online.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course as a whole is relatively easy.

    Course highlights:

The most challenging part of the course was being paired with dual enrollment students to complete a class assignment.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you need the course for your plan of study.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to everyone because it helps with your public speaking skills. Some people, including me are very shy and this course will help you sort of overcome it.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was overcoming my fears of speaking in public. I learned to be more confident in myself while taking this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them to remain confident. Believing in yourself is the number one thing to learn in this class.
