Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Rakestraw was such an incredible teacher! He was always so relevant and made learning enjoyable! His humor and his knowledge go hand in hand to make the class very educational!

    Course highlights:

Make sure to pay attention during the lectures! The tests can be difficult, so always be sure to take as many notes as possible and genuinely take in everything he says. Also, study very hard for the muscles test. It was the most fun, educating, and hands-on test we had the whole semester!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write, and spend some time studying. This was the first college class where I really had to learn how to study! I wish I could go back and kick myself for not studying more for the tests!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course to anyone. The professor was kind, funny, smart, and easy to work with. She worked with each student individually.

    Course highlights:

Well I learned biology! We got to do experiments and work together in teams. It was exactly what you would expect from a BIO 201 class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up on time and do the work. Read the book, study your worksheets. Always show up and put in 100%.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was very informative and Professor Rakestraw was awesome! He's so knowledgeable about anatomy and physiology, he makes the topic fun.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course for me was learning the muscles of the human body. As someone who works out quite a bit, it was interesting to learn all about the muscles that I'm working.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class it's imperative that students put in the effort and study every week. They also need to have an honest interest in the study of the human body because otherwise it's just tedious and confusing.
