Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is a very passionate teacher! But she is very thorough and expects you to follow instructions in the lab. Also always use the microscope as the instructions say.

    Course highlights:

This class focused on the cellular level of biology. We used microscopes a lot and the labs were amazing!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If she provides lecture notes via Blackboard print them out and use them. Also she loves to help students during her office hours.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course with a great instructor. It is a little bit tricky, so don't expect to be able to slide through. You will spend many hours studying.

    Course highlights:

The first part of BIO is boring. All about cells and microscopic things which is not good for a visual learner like me. BIO 104 gets a lot better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When studying for a test, listen to her Tegrity lectures over and over again. Always go to class because she gives daily quiz grades which end up helping your grade a lot. The person you sit next to on lab day is your lab partner so pick someone that will actually be a smart choice. Print all your study questions at the beginning of the semester.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor makes the course understandable. The way she teaches makes you learn not just memorize it for an exam.

    Course highlights:

The professor states at the beginning of the class that it is an inch deep and a mile wide. If you do have trouble on something do not worry because you will only study it for a second.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Sit in the front because it will always make you more active.
