    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Nix is an amazing teacher and she makes sure that all of the students truly understand what is required in each assignment.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely the peer reviews. Whenever we had to write a paper, a rough draft is required so that we have the opportunity to let someone else give suggestions. I personally dislike letting other students read what I write, but the simplest criticisms often make the biggest difference.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would like to share has to be this, you're going to have to get out of your comfort zone and talk to people. Having a network of classmates who have your back is amazing and it helps you keep up if you were to miss any classes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for any student. I do not like the subject very much, but this course taught me self discipline and focus on any paper I wrote. Ms. Eason is a very tough teacher which is what makes her a great teacher.

    Course highlights:

I learned the importance of paragraph and paper structure. I also learned how much stronger a thesis statement can make a paper. I also learned how to make the reader more entertained with my words.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Listen and take great consideration in her comments and suggestions. The suggestions can really help your grade. Also, feel free to ask her as many questions as needed, she is very quick when responding to emails.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Smith was a very nice woman and allowed me to improve my writing skills greatly, but I feel like that was more through the quantity of writing that we did as a class rather than the quality of her teaching.

    Course highlights:

We delved deep into the MLA format rules.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you know plenty about computers and Microsoft Word, because, even though Mrs. Smith knows plenty about English, she isn't the best with computers.
