Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to students who are unsure of the area of business they would like to concentrate upon. Professor Werner is extremely passionate about his job, which I believe translates into his excellent portrayal of course materials throughout the semester.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the ending business plan. I learned how to establish the operations of a business from inception to opening, working closely with other students to create mission statements, financial documents, and a final presentation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to work on the final business plan before Thanksgiving break. Although it seems like there is more time between Thanksgiving and the end of term, all of the time is spent in preparation for final exams and doing various holiday activities. I personally left the project to the last minute, and underestimated the amount of work that would need to completed to finish the project.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Frank Werner takes a broad approach to teach students about all the facets of business. The guest speakers he invites to speak are great resources.

    Course highlights:

I learned about social innovation, a sector of business I had not considered before. Professor Werner is very knowledgeable about the topic and influenced me to become the vice president of the Net Impact chapter at my school. It is important to talk to professors outside of class; they will influence you immensely.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course, participate! The more actively engaged you are, the more you will get out of the class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was a non-conventional introduction to the business school.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was the speakers who had real-world experience.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is not hard at all, but just stay on top of your assignments.
