    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Cruise is a very professional and very informed professor. He is highly regarded in the field of Forensic Psychology which helps his students better understand the course. He often pulls from his own experiences and cases to supplement the well written textbook that he is even cited in.

    Course highlights:

This course is structured strictly from the textbook, thoroughly discussing all thirteen chapters. It covers almost every aspect of what Forensic Psychologists do in their field, even touching on how to become one and job options. Some examples of the chapters are domestic abuse, sexual assault, malingering, and insanity.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is fairly important to read the textbook. His exams are very specific, comprised of multiple choice, fill in the blank, short answer and short essay questions. It is hard to answer fully if you aren’t extremely comfortable with the material. While he is very thorough in his lectures, there is simply not enough time for him to touch on every aspect. Also, do the extra credit discussion questions, they are a great grade booster!!
