    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is not an easy A class, but I would recommend the class because Professor Melkonian is a very smart man. You also can also learn a lot about general Micro Economics through the text book that he has you read for the class.

    Course highlights:

You don't learn much about specific Economic terms in the classroom, but you do get to learn about current events and relate them to past history and this is important knowledge to have. You also have six journals that you have to write explaining a current event article that you read and this is a great grade booster if you do them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work and read the text book and take notes! If you don't understand the textbook than YOU HAVE to ask him to go over it in class or else he probably won't.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

ECO 01 with professor Guttmann is the kind of course that would challenge you and would make you work really hard for a good grade.

    Course highlights:

Although this course was not easy, I took it as an opportunity to challenge myself and developed different study strategies. I learned a lot about government policies and how the reserve system of the United States have a huge impact in the overall economy. It is a great course to get the basics of financial institutions and how they work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay Attention! DO your entries as soon as possible! GO to office hours!

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Each of the professors I had demonstrated for ECO 1&2 demonstrated great knowledge and examples when explaining particular topical concepts. Each of them made an effort to help me understand a particular concept whenever I was confused or was curious.

    Course highlights:

These courses definitely revealed a great deal of information regarding Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. It helped me understand that Economics relates to almost every part of our lives in one way or another, in terms of what we buy, how we think, and who we aspire to be like.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Never think that the professors are there simply to profess or teach. They are there to help you understand the topics in which you are learning. If you feel that you are struggling early on in the course, let your Economics professor(s) know. they will recommend someone to help you understand or (much more likely) undertake the task themselves.
