Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely take his course on Composition specialized in Pop Culture again. He managed to help me critically think about how the media and what we listen to in the radio affects our generation, and other generations. The course is focused on Pop Culture from the 60's until today.

    Course highlights:

This course showed me a different way of analyzing Mass Media and how what we listen to, and the TV Shows or movies we watch reflect our ideas as a society. It taught me how to write a proper essay about topics that might be considered common and not always analyzed as educational. It helped me understand how every aspect of our lives can be analyzed and properly expressed in an essay.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice regarding this course is to think outside the box on the essay topics. It is important to talk about something very common such as popular movies, but be able to analyze them from an original perspective. This course is not about being able to do a research paper, it is about being creative, and present your ideas in a concrete way.

    Course highlights:

We watched films and compared them, they talked a lot on how the 'civilized' world competed with the natural world. The professor doesn't hand out long, complicated prompts for these papers either, instead he will give you an open prompt that you simply have to get

    Hours per week:
