This class was tough.
Course Overview:
This course, for some reason, is much harder than any other calculus course I've taken. It involves complicated and strange ways of solving different types of series equations and a lot of the time it came down to guessing the right method to use. Math is supposed to make sense not be a mess of guessing that might give you the right answer.
Course highlights:
How to deal with Taylor series and other definite and indefinite series summations. Towards the end of the year we also covered a little bit of vector mathematics in preparation for MATH 73.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Study hard and pick the professor's brain if you're having trouble. You will get a low grade, that's just the nature of the course, so make sure that you are above the average when grade comes back so you have a strong grade after the curve.
