Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course and the professor above! Not only is the course an interesting one, but rather insightful in terms of providing knowledge about women, the LGBTQ society, as well as communities of color, and the intersecting identities of all these people.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the waves of feminism and how we are currently in the third wave. I also learned about intersectionality, and how a person's identity is more than just their name and to what ethnicity they belong to, or have been made to identify as.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say, be sure to stay on top of the readings you're given, for every college course in general. I would also say go into this class, and classes similar to this, with an open mind and be prepared to learn more because that is what you came to college for. You may find that a lot of what is taught challenges your views and values, and no one is asking you to change them, but simply to be open minded and also respectful of other people's views and principles, no matter how much you may disagree with them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It really gives you an insight about not only women, but a lot of people in the LGBTQ community and the struggles each face. The class breaks down the kind of society we live in, how it works, who benefits and who is left to clean up messes that are made. It also seeks to find solutions to these problems and truly make everyone equal.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the Women's Rights Movement, as well the wave of feminism and the differences, yet similarities that existed in each wave.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read every material given. Don't just read either, but read and think critically about the material and participate as much as possible.
