    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Jeff is the kind of professor you will either like or dislike, no in-between! I liked him a lot, and though I never went to his office hours or spoke to him in person, I found his teaching methods both amusing and effective! The one thing I regret is not getting a chance to speak to him!

    Course highlights:

Since it was a general psychology course, it covered many areas. It was not too in-depth, but it's a great class if you're taking psychology and don't know which direction to go with it yet. There are no group projects, so it will be mostly up to you to determine how well you do in the class. You're not expected to have extensive background knowledge on the material, but it would be helpful when the professor asks questions in class. He'll get to learn your name personally and he's super cool!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly encourage you to study for his exams (and the right textbook is important), otherwise you'd never pass his class. Go for his office hours. Definitely try to make it to all the lectures, because they have greatly aided me (and my notes) in learning and passing his exams.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone who is a psychology major or is thinking about a being a psychology major. It is a great introduction course and covers a wide range of topics. Although each topic isn't in great depth, it will help someone to decide if they think psychology is right for them.

    Course highlights:

I learned a variety of different topics ranging from memory to abnormal behavior and everything in between. We talked about different psychological disorders to treatments. We also talked different subtopics in psychology.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This professor never assigns homework, so my advice would be to read the chapter that was covered in class that evening if you have time. It is a lot of reading so splitting it up is probably your best bet. There are only a few tests in this class and no other assignments so if your having problems don't wait until the second to last test to get help. The material isn't hard as long as you do the book reading. Also do any extra credit possible just in case you have one bad grade that way things will all even out.
