    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helped me understand the relations between different countries and how complicated interactions can be between countries. I also think that in this age that it is very important for the public to be educated on what the global world looks like.

    Course highlights:

In this class, I learned about different theories about how countries should and do interact, and how to identify those theories in articles and arguments. The different theories also impact what policies countries put into place. There were discussion of current events and the impact that they had on a global level. Also, it taught the impact of globalization and the debate on whether it was negative or positive. It was also a great place to learn how to respectful disagree with someone since these theories are not an exact science and there are a wide range of opinions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the reading. Each reading is usually coming from a different perspective and you will be expected to understand all of them. Take notes on the reading as you go because it will be easier to write your essays if you have already condensed the information. There are 3 essays worth all of your grade, so make sure to start them in advance in order to have sufficient time to ensure that they have quality.
