Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course challenges the student to be both creative and expressive in writing. The topics are well covered and when a student leaves , he or she is well prepared to go to subsequent course work

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course, was the group sessions which opened us to various ideas and input from our peers. I learned how to look at various topics from different viewpoints and implemented this in my writing. Another great highlight was putting a final revised paper together. This enabled me to use all the skills that I learned, from writing a proper introduction with a powerful thesis statement, to encapsulating all my ideas in a final captivating conclusion.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To you prospective students, take this course as early as possible as it sets you up for other writing intensive courses. If possible do all your assignments as soon as you get them. Please go a little beyond what you are asked to do and never be afraid to ask questions.
