Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course really challenged my mind and the ways of society. Being that it is a composition class, the professor really wanted to push the boundaries and really challenge us as to why we write the way that we do, who sets the writing standards and why do we have to follow certain writing rules. It is a very fun and interesting class and Professor Alvarez keeps up with all that is going on in society and around the world.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the class discussions that we had everyday. Professor Alvarez would always pose a question at the beginning of the class, show us a media and let the students take off from there. It was interesting to hear my classmates ideas and their opinions on current topics and what we all think of writing standards.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to do your blog every week. Professor Alvarez doesn't give much homework, but when she does you have to put effort in and keeping a blog was fun and interesting. Also, participation is crucial and you cannot miss too many classes.
