    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because this course and the professor whips you into shape if you're not too strong with the fundamentals marketing and management in a business setting. Professor Ghisoni also helps you with your interviewing skills so that you are prepared to stand out at an interview.

    Course highlights:

In order to pass the course, the students had to work in teams on various projects. The business world strives on teamwork so it was important for us to learn how to work with different kinds of people and knowing what to do to get the task done in a timely fashion. It taught us what roles best fit for each team member. In every team, there is a leader but there are also the other members of the team that contribute in different but effective ways. The professor also stated that only 4 A's were going to be given out at the end of the term and this made every student work hard for it even though he gave out more than 4. This helped us realize that not everyone gets that job they apply for. They have to work hard for it and make the employer notice they're the one for the job like we made the professor notice that we deserved one of those A's.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The professor offers each student on the first day of school a C grade if they don't want to come to class for the rest of the semester. Even though it's a passing grade, don't take him up on this offer. Just stick it out. The class is worth it in the end.
