    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's a great opening course into the nursing field. I found it exciting and inspiring to start my nursing career.

    Course highlights:

I learned mostly about the work that being in the nursing field will require. However, i also learned how important compassion is. Professor Sarandra was so inspiring and great.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

While it is no where near as hard as other nursing courses, it is still a nursing course. Study for tests, they are lengthy. If you're unprepared for tests you will not do well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The instructor really takes the time to explain the material, she has a lot of stories which help out and she also post extra articles to read that help with the course material. She is always keeping the class up to date on current events/laws that are constantly changing in the nursing field. Her tests are very straight forward and from her notes, she also includes extra credit on every exam, EVEN THE FINAL!

    Course highlights:

We had 2 very fun assignments that really teach you what the nursing field is about. We had an interview assignment where we interviewed a nursing student, a nurse whose been in the field for 2 years and a non-nursing student. It was interesting to see all the different responses and you really get a feel for the profession from both your peers and a recent graduate. We also did a group assignment on the 9 provision of nursing. Each group had a provision and we had to break down each part and find a scene in the movie that violated the provision and explain why it was a violation and if they nurse should be reprimanded or not.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the articles she puts up, do your readings before class and participate. She loves when everyone participates and it just makes the class more fun, she had a lot of interesting stories and the students in my class participated which makes the learning experience more enjoyable.
